Saskia de Coster ( 1976) started to write at the age of two after which she took a long break before making her publishing debut in 2002 with Vrije Val (Free Falling). This was followed two years later by Jeuk (The Itch) and in 2006, Eeuwige roem (Eternal Fame). She was nominated for the 2007 BNG Literature Prize. Her fifth novel, Dit is van mij (This is mine,2009) received excellent reviews and was nominated for the Gouden Uil Literature Prize and the AKO Literature Prize.

Gerda Dendooven is an illustrator and author of children’s books. She won several prizes in Belgium and abroad: the ‘Zilveren Griffel’ for Dom Konijn (Stupid Bunny) by Edward van de Vendel, ‘Boekenpauwen’ for Het verhaal van Slimme Krol (The Story of Slimme Krol) and for Meneer papier gaat wandelen (Mister Paper goes for a Walk) by Elvis Peeters, the ‘Gouden Uil’ for children’s literature for Luna van de Boom (Luna from the Tree) with Filip Bral and Bart Moeyaert,

Bernard Dewulf
Bernard Dewulf (Brussels, 1960) is a writer, art connoisseur and former editor of the Nieuw Wereldtijdschrift. He was awarded the Debut Prize in 1996 for his first collection of poetry Waar de egel gaat (Where the Hedgehog Goes) (1995). His second volume was titled Blauwziek (Blue Sick) (2006).
