Erik Lindner
author
Erik Lindner (1968) debuted with a collection of poems entitled Tramontane (Uitgeverij Perdu, 1996), that was soon sold out. His second collection of poems, Tong en trede, was published by De Bezige Bij in 2000. In 2003, together with Henk Pröpper, he put together excerpts of poems with Dutch poets in a French translation, Le verre est un liquide lent; 33 poètes néerlandais. In November 2004 his collection, Tafel, was published. The author put together images, objects and events in an unusual way. In what he describes – environments and what takes place in them - detail is the most important thing. With Tafel Erik Lindner completed a trilogy in which each image constantly becomes more prominent and sharper. In 2007 he published a collection of poems translated into French, Terrain. His most recent collection, Terrein, was published in 2010 including poems that were previously translated into French. Besides being a poet, Lindner is also poetry critic for De Groene Amsterdammer.
